Yes! With spirits, the distillation process removes any trace of gluten, even if it includes an ingredient like barley. You can find more information at the here.

There is metered parking available surrounding the building, as well as a full paid parking lot located next door for your convenience.

The metered parking Parking is free after 6 p.m. on weekdays, all day Saturday and Sunday and on statutory holidays unless a ban is in place or otherwise noted.

We are proud to say that Wooden Walls Distilling is 100% locally owned and operated! Even our Head Distiller and head bartender are from Newfoundland!

We bring in all grain and malt from Island Malt House located in beautiful Prince Edward Island. The grains are sourced from various farms throughout the Maritimes.

We also have limited bottles left of our Maiden Voyage series.

We currently do not make whisky or rum, but trust us, we can’t wait to start. This whole idea was started because we all love whisky. We want to be a whisky distillery…and we will be…soon. Fingers crossed that we can start putting delicious single malt whisky into barrels this fall!

Also, could we be a distillery in Newfoundland if we didn’t make rum? It is high on our list of things we want to create. Whisky, is priority number 1, but rum is for sure priority number 2!

Yes! We are happy to show off our space and would love to show you how we make our vodka and gins from grain to glass!

Typically, we require 8 people minimum for the tour, but can make exceptions for special occasions. Email cheers@woodenwalls.ca to book your tour.
